This access course marks the start of the new resident curriculum 2026. It focuses on the posterior approaches to the shoulder, upper arm, and elbow. Participants will learn and practice essential surgical techniques for safe and effective exposure of these regions, with emphasis on incision planning, anatomical orientation, and preservation of critical structures. Through hands-on training on real specimens, residents will enhance their confidence and precision in performing posterior approaches, improving surgical outcomes and minimizing complications in upper extremity procedures.

To support the preparation, participants receive access to the Augmedi E-Learning platform upon registration. Featuring photorealistic 3D anatomy models and an AI-powered learning engine, the platform enables them to strengthen their anatomical understanding and monitor their individual progress ahead of the hands-on training sessions.
