This access course provides an in-depth introduction to the anterior and anterolateral approaches to the hip, specifically designed to support orthopedic residents in preparing for the board examination. Participants will learn the step-by-step surgical techniques for safe exposure of the hip joint, focusing on anatomical landmarks, incision planning, and protection of critical neurovascular structures. Through guided, hands-on training on specimens, they will strengthen their understanding of soft tissue management and improve their technical precision in performing these approaches.
To support the preparation, participants receive access to the Augmedi E-Learning platform upon registration. Featuring photorealistic 3D anatomy models and an AI-powered learning engine, the platform enables them to strengthen their anatomical understanding and monitor their individual progress ahead of the hands-on training sessions.
