OR-X has excellent links to public transport and can be reached quickly. From Zurich main station, take tram No. 11 in the direction of Rehalp and alight at the "Balgrist" tram stop (journey time approx. 20 minutes). From Stadelhofen station, take the Forch light railway S18 in the direction of Esslingen or tram No. 11 towards Rehalp and alight at the "Balgrist" tram stop (journey time approx. 10 minutes). You can also reach OR-X in a very short time by bus line 99 from Zollikon station or by the extended line 77.

The OR-X Translational Center for Surgery is located in the heart of Balgrist University Hospital. In its former role, OR-X served as a secure bunker for the hospital. It is a place where history and innovation come together. The facility is easily and quickly accessible from the city center and the airport by public transportation or car.

Please note: Construction work on the Forchstrasse between Kreuzplatz and Hegibachplatz will begin as of February 12, 2024. These roadworks will affect both public transport and car traffic. Replacement buses will be running while Tram 11 and Forch railway (Forchbahn S18) will be out of service. Please allot more time for your journey.
