The Medical Augmented Reality Summer School (MARSS25) is an international platform for education, research, and innovation in medical AR.
Join the 5th edition of MARSS, held from 11. to 20. August 2025 (core program), at the OR-X and the Balgrist University Hospital. This year’s program brings together world-leading experts to explore the intersection of Medical Augmented Reality and Surgical Data Science. Participants will take part in a collaborative hackathon and, for the first time, a dedicated hands-on surgical training course at the OR-X, featuring navigation systems, endoscopy, and robot-assisted procedures on bone models.

Please note: Participation in the hands-on surgical training is reserved for medical participants.

The hands-on medical track (11.–15. August 2025) will be accredited by swiss orthopaedics.
