This Drylab provides hands-on training in the surgical steps of knee prosthesis implantation, focusing on bone preparation, implant positioning, and fixation. Using anatomical models, participants will gain practical experience with the essential instruments and techniques for successful knee arthroplasty. Led by the knee surgery team from Balgrist University Hospital, the course offers detailed instruction on procedural workflow and implant handling, helping residents build confidence and precision in knee replacement surgery.
To enhance preparation, all participants gain access to the Augmedi E-Learning platform upon registration. With photorealistic 3D models and an AI-powered learning engine, the platform helps residents deepen their anatomical knowledge and track their progress before the practical sessions.
