This Drylab focuses on the key surgical steps of knee prosthesis implantation, from bone preparation to precise implant positioning. Using anatomical models, residents will practice techniques for achieving accurate alignment and fixation while becoming familiar with the required instruments and procedural workflow. Led by the knee surgery team from Balgrist University Hospital, the course offers valuable insights into modern knee arthroplasty techniques and implant handling in a controlled training environment.
To support preparation, all participants gain access to the Augmedi E-Learning platform upon registration. With photorealistic 3D models and an AI-powered learning engine, the platform allows residents to deepen their anatomical knowledge and track their progress before the hands-on sessions.
