This access course covers surgical approaches to the hip joint, acetabulum, and pelvis, focusing on Kocher-Langenbeck, Trochanteric Flip, and Hip Dislocation techniques. Using real specimens, residents will refine their skills in access, soft tissue handling, and exposure of critical structures. Guided by experienced orthopedic surgeons from Balgrist University Hospital, participants will gain hands-on experience in a controlled setting, preparing them for complex hip and pelvic procedures.

To support preparation, all participants gain access to the Augmedi E-Learning platform upon registration. The platform offers photorealistic 3D models and an AI-powered learning engine to enhance anatomical knowledge and track progress before the hands-on sessions.
